Hilltop Montessori School
This building was manufactured to function as an independent school facility. It is the first and only school located in this new up scale town located outside of Birmingham, Al.
Special features include CAT-5 wiring for computers and telephone devices, junction boxes stubbed into the ceiling area for a completely monitored fire & burglar alarm system, and a 1600 amp main electrical switch board to feed all sub-panels.

This 15,276 sq. ft. private school building is made with 7-14'x76', 3-16'x76' & 5-12'x76'
modules together consist of 8-classrooms, 1-kitchen, 1-cafeteria, 1-library/computer room, 1-spanish, 2-music rooms, 1-conference room, 2-private offices, 1-receptionist area, 1-janitors closet, 1-electrical room,
individual student class restrooms and faculty restrooms. |

The interior walls are vinyl-covered gypsum and the ceiling is a 2'x2' suspended system. The classrooms floor covering are half carpet squares and half tile. The restrooms, kitchen, and cafeteria are tiled and the other areas are carpet squares.
The main entrances have a tiled foyer area with commercial glass doors and each classroom has an individual steel door emergency exit. |

The buildings exterior walls are a rolled-on stucco textured finish over a cementious board sheathing which is about half the cost of an on-site trowel applied stucco finish over Styrofoam. Gutters are concealed behind the mansard/facade.
The HVAC units are wall mounted Heat Pumps with interior filter grills and installed for zoned air with separate thermostats of individual rooms. |

AAA Modular Buildings installation crew set-up the building and made final electrical connections.
It took 62-calender days to complete this project form the start of production (7/10/01) to 9/10/01 in which it was occupied. Our customer is Very Happy! |
